Liebster Award

Thank you so much Kisa Hilson Collier at Hanging In The Women Cave for choosing me to receive this Liebster Award.

"The origins of the Liebster Blog award are somewhat unclear but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster meaning favorite or dearest, to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon accepting the award the recipient must then pass it on to five more blogs of note."

Without further adieu, here's what you do as a presenter of this award!

1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
3. Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less who you feel deserve.
5. Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment at their blog.

So, now it's my turn to pay it forward, my picks for fellow bloggers with less than 200 followers, in no particular order, are as follows:

1. Teresa Kaufold ~ Create Enjoy Share

2. Candice Fields ~ Stampin Pearls

3. Deirdre Smith ~ Glittered Roses

4. Tiffany Grant-Smimmons ~ The Crafty Teacher

5. Tammie Lippart O' Keefe ~ Scrapping My Life Creations

Now, choose 5 blogs that you like and give them the award!

Let Freedom Ring

When I found out that the theme @ Erica's Craft Room was
FOURTH OF JULY using the STAND & SALUTE
Cricut Cartridge I had to share my story about the
Card for the Troops for Martin Luther King Jr
Day of Service @ my church

The "Let Freedom Ring" and Liberty Bell" are found on page 30

Liberty Bell cut @ 2.5"
Let Freedom Ring cut @ 3"

This is basically the card that we would do.
I have the kids six and up make the back ground Pattern Paper
with White Card Stock, Red and White Acrylic Paint and Shaving Cream

This is a big hit with kids of all ages
This is a project the parents love to do with their children

Before the event I cut out about 200 of so of each image needed for the cards
The cards for this post I used EK Success 3D-Dots
to the Liberty Bell made from Craft Paper Card Stock
that was colored in Ranger's "Perfect Gold" Perfect Pearls

I accented the top of the bell and crack with Ranger's "Copper" Stickles

Every year I look forward to heading up this event
Even though we do not do any 3-D effects the mass card production for the Troops
the card come out great.

I hope that you enjoyed the project as much as I love doing and sharing it.
Happy crafting and thanks for looking

A Bouquet of Spring

Hello and Welcome to my first
Design Team post

This project is something that I made for my Mothers for Mother's Day.

When I decided to make this I wanted to use what I call "Ugly Paper"
Now "Ugly Paper" in not necessarily ugly but some that you will not really use,
you know the papers that are in the packs.

The Pattern Paper that I used for the I had for so long that I can not remember the Pack of Paper I got it from.

I cut the Vase from Plantin SchoolBook page 80 "Tall Ball"
I cut at "Fit to Page" for the vase size.
I put together Mog Pog and cut of the handles

I placed foam at the bottom of the vases so that I was able to stick Pipe Cleaning Wire in it for the steams of the flowers.

The Flower were cut from Accent Essentials at 2 inches
on page 63 and 56

The center of flower were cut out with a 1 inch EK Success Scallop circle punch.

I cut two flowers for every steam used and glued them together on the steams.

The Butterflies were cut from Picturesque on page 65 at 2 inches

This was simple to make but can have a dramatic affect.

Thank for looking,
I hope you enjoyed my first DT Post.

Ranger & Tim Holtz Products

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101

Just wanted to say that I am starting to get another obsession
along with my Cricut

I have brought just about every thing that the ACMoore that I teach at has.

Here is how I am storing them for now.

I am taking the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 online class series, and I have to same that after the first class today and am pleasantly surprised to learn a lot abut inks and pants.

I can't wait to see what else I will learn during the next 2 weeks.

I want to learn it all.

So that I can teach.

These are the main things you need.

I keep saving these can knowing that I could use them for something.
The tea tins can be found from the tea brand called

There are so many flavor and verity that I am sure you will find one that you will like.

I also buy mine from Wagmans Food Market or Kitchen Kapers

The Glue Dots that I used in between the cans were the
3D Pop Up

Here is how they look up close
I did not do any measuring
I just put them were I thought they needed to be

It has been awhile...

Hello, I know it has been a while since I have posted on my blog, but that is about to change because I have just been accepted on to Erica’s My Cricut Craft Room Design Team. I am just so excited. I wanted to start blogging more, while now I am and with using the Cricut no less. Pinch me and call my Buggy.

Well this is what I entered:

This was the Challenge

Use yellow, green and another pastel color of your choice, as your three main colors.
You can make ANYTHING you can think of with your cricut!

I made this for a friend the had twin girls and their theme was "Two Peas in a Pod"

Look at the cute faces compliments of Peachy Keen
I used Pink Stickles on the heart at the tip of the pod and the little bows.

The little feet were colored in with Copic Markers

Heart entwined
Twenty fingers, Twenty toes
Two sweet babies with cheeks of rose
Born on the same day, two gifts from above
Lives entwined, two babies to love

Gotta love Create a Critter

The Pattern Paper is

called Oh So Loved/Sweet Pea

Alayna and Alanna are in circled with Diamond Stickles

All cuts came for New Arrival
except for the Giraffes and Monkeys that were cut from Create a Critter
