Angela's "Fabulous 50" Birthday Blog Hop

If you are here for Angie's Paper Passion's 50th Birthday Blog Hop and you have just come from visiting TinaGale at http://tiggersscrapplace.blogspot.com/, then you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to http://angiespaperpassion.blogspot.com/  and start at the beginning.

Happy Birthday Angie

I could not wait to do this LO when I heard the Angie wanted to do a Fabulous 50 Birthday Blog Hop.

I saw this a while back and can not remember who or where
But I though this would be the perfect time to try this project out.

I hope you enjoy it.

This is a simple Recipe

Paper:
Pattern Paper - K&Company Desingner Paper
Flesh Tone Color Paper - Recollecions (Michaels)
"@" and "50" - Black
Pearls - White

Cricut

Forever Young Cartridge:
Women & Accessories - Cut @ 10"
Mirrow - Cut @ 10"
Fabulous - Cut @ 2.5"

Lyrical Letters Cartridge:
"@" and "50" - Cut @ 2.5"

Isn't she just too darling

I really like the affect of using close to flesh toned paper
for the silhouette instead of black

I used my Gypsy but it is not needed.

But I did save it on my Gypsy,
Because I will be making this again and again.

Printed the picture at 7" x 5"

I cut out another Mirror Frame with the Cricut

And then cut out the Looking Glass part

Then glued the Mirror Frame over the picture

After the glue dried,
I cut the excess picture from the outside of the Mirror Frame
and then glued in place

Added a little "Diamond" Stickles Glitter

For a little Bling

And "Frosted Lace" Stickles for the Pearl Neckless

Happy Birthday again Angie

What I made on Valentine's Day

I have been asked to be a guest Blogger for friend of mine Angela. We meet at a training section with Provo Craft in Chicago. It was one of the highlights of my Crafting career.

I was going to have the card that I did for my first Blog Hop on Friday, but since I had an extra day I decided to make some Bra & Panty Cards that I love to make with the extra paper from the card that I made for the Blog Hop.

Skin tone: Recollection from Micheal's
Bra & Pantie: Red Roes from Colobok
Ribbon: Red from ACMoore
Rose Bud: Joann's

1. Use skin colored card stock of your choice to cut out Bra & Panty Card base.

2. Use patterned DP or colored card to cut out panties or bikini top
(by using the template you have the bonus option of making a bikini top card too)

3. I can get both the top and bottom cards out of the one piece of skin colored card.

Here is the templete

I just love making these card and can not get enough of them.
I hope you will enjoy making them as much as I do.

Hello, my name is Monique and I am so excited, because this is my first Blog Hop.
I love Valentine’s Day it is the day that I was married to my wonderful husband for seven years ago. I have always loved hearts and draw them all the time, even dotting my “I's” with them. So you know that I was double excited when the girls and I decided to do a Valentine’s Theme Blog Hop.

I have been falling in love with making Tri-Fold Shutter Cards, so I decided that that would be my project for the Blog Hop.

Card Stock
AC Cardstock - Red
Recolletions - Chocolate
Staples - Ivory

Patter Paper
ColorBok - Red Roses

Ribbon
A.C. Moore - Red & Sheer

The heart embelishment was cut with my Cricut Expression from the "Wedding" Cartridge.
I cut the figures at 3.5" layered and tied with ribbons.

Happy Groundhog Day - Wednsday, February 2, 2011

Thanks to Chritel Young Bonner @ One Scrappin Sista I was inspired to make this little Happy Groundhog Day Card on of my husband's students. He loves Groundhog Day and even tapes the predictions.

In side of card

Phil Says Expect an Early Spring!
Phil's official forecast as read February 2nd, 2011, at sunrise at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, PA:

Here Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye
Groundhog Day, February 2, 2011
Punxsutawney Phil was raised from his burrow
By the call of President Bill Deeley.
He greeted his handlers, Ben Hughes and John Griffiths.
After casting an inquisitive eye towards thousands of his faithful followers,
He proclaimed that the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl!
Back to the business at hand...
He surveyed his surroundings carefully and found that there was no shadow around,
So, an early spring it will be.
Click on the water to feed the fish.
